Did you know that God
actually does
promise wealth
to his children?
I know you’ve all heard TV preachers that seem to promise that God wants to make you wealthy.
Here’s what those guys don’t understand—that even though it is true that there is a promise of wealth to God’s children, it is what theologians call a conditional
promise. And that is different than an unconditional promise.
(I think sometimes the TV preachers teach it like an unconditional promise, and that’s false.)
A conditional promise means there’s an if-then proposition. If you do this, this and this, then
I will make you wealthy. So you gotta make sure you get the if
part.
And that’s what we’re gonna talk about in this week’s episode.
God gives a vast supply of information about wealth creation in the Bible. And you know this is the oldest book on the planet that contains business principles, correct? I mean, it talks about economics, it talks about finance, it talks about the power of creating family businesses. All of this is in the Bible.
Business success implies wealth. I mean the whole idea of entrepreneurship and creating businesses is to create wealth through these businesses.
And since wealth is a conditional promise to God’s children, we need to know the conditions in our hearts and fulfill them in our lives.
Now today we’re going to talk about what I think is the most important condition to becoming wealthy.
