Between 2022-2023, central banks around the world accumulated over 1,000 metric tons of official gold reserves according to the World Gold Council. Why on earth would they be doing that? That’s what today’s video is all about.

Gold has a 20 year average annual rate of return of 8.8%. Now this is only a few percentage points behind stocks over the same time frame. You can’t argue that an almost 9% annual rate of return is bad. But that’s not the only benefit of buying gold. Let’s talk about some of my other favorite reasons to purchase this precious metal.
